You don’t need to arrive knowing what to do with your hands or how to create a photograph. I’ll pay attention to how you naturally interact, offer direction that gives you something to work with, and adjust as we go. Instead of moving through a list of poses, we create space for movement, personality, and the unexpected moments that make a session feel distinctly yours.
My editorial eye influences the composition, light, movement, styling, and locations we choose, while an unscripted approach keeps the photographs grounded in your actual relationship. The goal isn’t to manufacture chemistry for the camera. It’s to create imagery with atmosphere and polish while preserving the expressions, gestures, energy, and connection that already exist between you.

Photography has always been part of my story
From a young age, I was inspired by my grandfather, whose love of photography and travel shaped the way I learned to see the world. His home was filled with cameras and photographs from faraway places, each holding a story of its own. That early sense of curiosity still influences the way I photograph today—looking closely, noticing what might otherwise pass by, and preserving images that become more meaningful with time.
Now based in Charleston, I photograph weddings and meaningful seasons throughout the Lowcountry, including Downtown Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Daniel Island, Johns Island, Kiawah Island, and the surrounding coast. I also travel beyond Charleston for celebrations and stories that take me elsewhere, bringing that same curiosity and attention to every place and person I photograph.
