My approach is rooted in creating cinematic, nostalgic imagery that feels effortless and emotive, with space for the experience to unfold naturally.

The photographs that stay with me are rarely about perfection. They’re about recognition—the expression you know by heart, the nervous anticipation before the ceremony, the way your people interact when nobody is asking them to look at a camera. That’s why I photograph by paying attention first. I read body language, notice what’s unfolding around me, and offer direction when it helps rather than forcing every moment into a pose. Charleston’s historic streets, Lowcountry landscapes, and coastal settings give me endless visual inspiration, but the people within them will always matter most.
